The Beaverton Rural Schools Athletic Hall of Fame...

is an open nomination process, meaning you can nominate a could-be Hall of Famer any time of the year.

Nominate your Hall of Famer in one of two ways:

  1. Pick up an application form at the HOF wall in the high school
  2. Or you can download a form, print it off by clicking here, then submit it by mail.  Acrobat Reader is required; if you don’t have it, download it for free by clicking here.

All nominations are retained for future consideration; one need not re-submit a nomination for the same candidate.

Nominators are strongly encouraged to provide supporting materials, including, but not limited to: news clippings, anecdotal accounts, photos and any other materials that provide background information on the nominee’s qualifications.

Entire teams may also be nominated.

Qualifications for selection as an athlete:

  • Must be a graduate of Beaverton High School
  • Must have been selected to an All-League Team
  • Additional consideration may be awarded for All-Area and All-State Team recognition
  • Must have graduated a minimum of ten (10) years prior to nomination for induction
  • Must be a citizen of good moral and sound character

Qualifications for selection as a non athlete:

  • Nominee must have contributed significantly over a lengthy period of time to the Beaverton athletic program(s) in some manner
  • Must be a citizen of good moral and sound character

Next year’s applications are due no later than December 1st of the current year.

The Beaverton Hall of Fame was established by a group of community volunteers in an effort to recognize outstanding student athletes that have had significant Beaverton Athletic careers or those who have contributed significantly over a lengthy period of time to the Beaverton Athletic program(s) in some manner.
