Ryan Longstreth
To be inducted in 2025 Unquestionably one of the most successful student athletes in BHS history, his heroics on the mound paced two of the greatest seasons ever for the school, notching back-to-back appearances in the state’s final four, and in one case, the championship game. His all-state recognition both seasons preceded a successful college career at CMU and an American Legion World Series championship with Midland Berryhill, and he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 2012. He was also a basketball standout at BHS, earning all-conference honors twice and setting the school record for three-pointers made.Ryan Longstreth

“Congratulations Ryan on your induction into the Beaverton Sports Hall of Fame! Ryan was our ace on the mound in our two runs for the state title in baseball. Ryan recorded 5 wins and a save in 2007. In the regionals he threw a 1-0 shutout and then picked up the save in the second game. In those two games he recorded 24 strikeouts in 10 innings of work. He was basically unhittable.
I would think Ryan’s greatest accomplishment was his dominance against Saginaw Nouvel, who was a multiple-year state champion. In two games they never scored a run against him. These were the state semifinals and regional finals.
Ryan had a great college career which led him to be drafted by the Detroit Tigers. An injury to his arm ended his career. He was a bulldog on the mound and one of our vocal leaders. I am very proud of his accomplishments, both here at Beaverton and after leaving. Congratulations Ryan on your induction.“
